Nikki is a welsh illustrator, muralist and scenic painter based in Ceredigion. 

Her work explores wildlife and the environment, with a particular fascination in entomology, plants and highlighting rare, often overlooked species. The local landscape and inhabitants of West Wales have also become a huge inspiration to her work. Her mixed media illustrations combine paint and collage to explore and convey the rich patterns and forms found in nature. 

Nikki left her hometown Aberaeron in 2006 to study Illustration and Animation at Kingston University. She spent the following years in South East London and in 2020 left the city to return to her roots in West Wales.

Over her fifteen year career she has had the pleasure to work on a range of projects including, children’s books, licensing, theatre design, mural projects and as a scenic painter. She has also ran a host of workshops over the years in both London and Wales. 

Nikki now works from her studio by the sea near Aberaeron and travels across Wales and the Uk for scenic painting and mural work. Her illustrations and paintings are available as sustainable prints and stationary through her Etsy shop, as well as wholesale.
